Our mission is to give First responders and their families the ability to purchase a home with little to NO Closing costs. First responders have struggled long enough, it's time for us to take care of them!
The Valiant Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded by Firefighter and Real Estate Broker, Vincent Cordova. He recognized a lack of programs in the Real Estate world to assist first responders in purchasing a home. Without the ability to afford a home, first responders face challenges that affect their overall well-being. After seeing many first responders struggling with high closing costs, Cordova knew that he needed to help. The Valiant Foundation was created to provide assistance to first responders; helping them with down payment and closing cost assistance to purchase a home and improve their quality of life.
Our aim is to raise a minimum of 2.2 million dollars in tax-exempt donations to address the issues faced by first responders when purchasing a home, in New Mexico.
Why this amount? Our goal is to help 750 first responders, with the average donation on our behalf being $3000.00, per first responder (based off of the average home purchase).
We have set a target of achieving this goal by the third quarter of 2024.
Looking ahead, we plan to raise $4.5 million by 2025 to extend our assistance to first responders nationwide.
Vincent Cordova's life changed forever when he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. He had to leave his home state of New Mexico and travel to California for an emergency operation to save his life. His recovery process took 14 months, during which he was unable to work. However, his firefighter brothers and sisters rallied around him, generously donating their personal sick and vacation time to keep him employed. Without their support, Vincent would not have been able to return to work.
After receiving months of therapy and countless prayers, Vincent was able to return to his job as a full-time firefighter and pay all of his medical expenses. Though he will never be able to repay his fellow firefighters for their kindness, Vincent hopes to pay it forward with the Valiant Foundation. Through this non-profit organization, he can help other first responders in need, just as his own brother and sisters helped him during his time of crisis.
As a trusted first responder and experienced real estate broker, I am committed to the responsible stewardship of funds for the Valiant Foundation. Throughout my years of service, I have learned the value of generosity and the importance of helping those in need. With this foundation, I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of first responders who have dedicated their lives to serving our communities.
I take the responsibility of leading this organization very seriously. I believe that there is no one else with the motivation, expertise, and trustworthiness to ensure the success of this program and to ensure that it operates with the utmost integrity. I will personally oversee every aspect of the foundation's operations and will ensure that all funds are used effectively and efficiently.

We consider the first person you talk to during an emergency, the first person who arrives on scene, the first person who helps you at the hospital, and the person who volunteers to protect this Country on our behalf.
